Our Facility

Wye River Kennel is situated at the beautiful headwater of the Wye River on 20.6 wildlife enriched acres. The kennel has 8 chain link exercise pens totaling over 6,000 square feet that are shaded by large trees in a park-like wooded setting. All dogs are rotated in and out continuously throughout the day while receiving one on one attention. The kennel consists of three buildings.

The main building holds the reception area where check in/out is processed. Another room is specially reserved for the boarding of small animals and cats. Modern features include climate control for maximum comfort. Our grooming room is fully equipped with an elevated bathing tub and laundry area. Our other two building provide boarding spaces for larger dogs featuring eleven covered outdoor chain link-on-concrete runs with insulated houses.
And, of course, for your pet's health and safety, our manager lives on the kennel grounds.
Wye River Kennel was established in 1985 and has long been known for it's excellent quality pet care.
